PJ reviewed and completed several activities using his wordly Wise words and Spelling words in context. We discussed Walt Whitman's poem, "O Captain! My Captain." He has to look up information about the author and make citations for 2 sources.

Nico finished writing his summaries. He began writing a book report for the book, "Shadow Jumpers."

She read, discussed, and answered questions for today's story, "On My Way to School," from the first grade Wonders reading series. She read and discussed a story using letter that make the long e sound. She learned how to add (ed)to a verb to make it in the past tense.

Mia completed her interactive calendar. She finished her calendar talk activity. She worked on several phonics activities. She read and discussed her mini book from last week and started a new one for this week.

Saskiia read all her sight words and high frequency words. She completed several phonics activities. She read and discussed another story about maps and was able to identify the main idea and the key details.
