Ben and I worked on current events.

I was going to sub for Matthew today in Reading but he had things to do at home.

Ben did the comprehension questions for an article on Native Americans, and we discussed this.

PJ worked on his handout that went with his book.
I was able to help him with some of the definitions he needed help with.

Today we read an article about regifting.

We took turns reading from the assigned book about two siblings who are at odds in the chapter entitled "The Breakup." I assisted Matthew in reading multi -syllable words by breaking the words into component syllables. To enhance his interest , we tried a dramatic reading approach. Matthew then completed two vocabulary exercises based on the reading. He was cooperative during our session.

I substituted for Matthew today in Reading. We followed the lesson format that was set out for him

I was going to sub for PJ for 2 periods of Reading but he was absent.

Today I started reading out loud chapter two of the book: The Lemonade War. After, he answered question two of the reading and comprehension part.
