Lesson Outline
Today Patrick completed work in his V/V book. He finished working on the story, Happy Hippo. He completed a word summary and responding to questions that referred to details and the main idea. He was able to recall the definitions and use them in sentences by the end of the lesson. He answered questions that require inferencing. These are trickier for him, but he was successful, after taking his time to formulate thoughtful answers. In his FF program, I moved him to the next level. This transition prompts SciLearn to reassess Patrick. He will begin a new program next week. He successfully completed most of the games and is prepared to move ahead. Great work, Patrick.

Lesson Outline
Today Patrick continued in his FF program. He played Moon Ranch and Sky Gym. He beat his high scores in both brain games. Very exciting! In LB, Patrick worked on a story, Happy Hippo. He reviewed vocabulary words such as rustle, reeds, edge, etc. He was able to recall these meanings from yesterday's class. He completed activities which asked him to respond to questions which would demonstrate that he is able to make a picture in his mind. He did this for each sentence in the passage. Patrick completed a word summary by placing events into their proper order. Then Patrick completed the Word Summary portion of the activity. Patrick had a great day!
