We learned about describing the weather: rain, sun, hot, cold, wind. We also learned the words for seasons, and reviewed other calendar terms (months, days of the week).

Student was absent.

Patrick went home sick today. I hope he gets better soon!

Subtraction: Patrick converted word problems to pictures then to numbers. He used total coins and deducted the correct number to find answers. He did very well. More practice is needed instill the concept . He went home early due to illness.

Patrick read sentence for fluency. We worked on keeping eyes on the paper. He has a tendency to look all around the room. He had a very hard time focusing today.
