I wanted to try a new format that would hopefully engage John Michael and aid his learning his multiplication facts. He only attended part of the class because he went to hear Charlie's presentation.
Review exercises - ordering numbers, recognizing number patterns, and addition with regrouping
Lesson 6.3 - when multiplying learn to break apart arrays to find the product, for example, 6x8 - if 5x8=40 - one more 8 is 48, so 6x8=48

Lesson Comments
As stated before, John Michael needs to put forth more effort. He is so smart, but is not working up to his potential. I guess he needs a little more maturity.
Review exercises - place value, geometric shapes, adding/subtracting with regrouping
Lesson 6.2 - learn to use doubles when multiplying with 4 - for example - 2 rows of 7 = 14 then 2 more rows of 7 = 14, so 14 + 14 + 28 - 4x7=28
