We got started a little late as Will was helping make the stone soup. But once we got started he was on task and focused. He had a lot of trouble with combining two sentences into one idea and the fill in the blanks.
I was out for the morning and I wanted to be sure that Ayden got his math lesson completed. Today he learned how to multiply 2-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers. This is normally a concept which requires practice. I modeled some problems for him and then we did some together. He was able to do them independently by the end of the lesson. I will monitor his progress, to ensure that he is able to solve these type of problems on his own. He did a great job!
Will did a good job with fast forword today. He's really starting to roll with the video story exercise. He knows the story really well and rarely misses a question.
Today Will did MUCH better with the spelling and fill in the blank exercises. But he had a lot of difficulty reading and understanding tables. It was a new exercise and it usually takes him a while to figure it out. He also has a lot of trouble with identifying parts of speech. We've gone over a lot of it in Language Arts, but for some reason it's just not sinking in.
