Testing the addition and subtraction. First was writing on the paper and then orally checking. later we switch the roles, student was a teacher asking questions.

Worksheet "First day Fears". Coloring, cutting and pasting the pictures in the order relating to the story.

Quinn- Wilson- We worked on the tapping method for decoding words
Ana- Homophones- Ana read a book about homophones and identified the correct word for each picture.

Quinn- Wilson- Started a rules notebook and worked on the short vowel sounds
Anna- read a book independently and did a sequencing activity

Anna and Quinn wrote an acrostic poem using the word SCHOOL. They came up with adjectives to describe their new school.

We read "The Kissing Hand" We sequenced pictures from the story. Anna and Quinn met new friends and talked about their new school with them.

We learned our fingers and rhythms.

We continued our work on greetings and started to review numbers one through ten. We took breaks every 15 minutes with Quinn and it worked well.
