Both Anna and Quinn played well when they were able to focus, but we did have some behavior issues. Quinn would not sit still and practice his chords while I was working with Anna, and Anna had an emotional meltdown when trying to play through her song. We eventually were able to move past it and get through their songs and exercises.
Explore and measure how far different things move. Define the terms force and gravity. Understand different ways that objects can move and change direction.

The use of ruler and metric units was an excellent job.
Use Objects to find the distance around shapes. Some problems can be solved by using objects to act out the actions in the problem. Complete two worksheets/test preparation.
Quinn- Finished reading the chapter book "Henry and Mudge". Worked on decoding, context clues and fluency.
Anna- Wilson- Review of step three, suffixes, dividing words, the ic sound and the ct sound. Getting ready for step 3 test.
Find the area of closed figures using same-sized objects to cover the space inside the figure. The amount of space inside a shape is its area and area can be estimated and measured using square units. Activity: using square units to measure area.
