We played full game today and I'm very pleased with Anna and Quinn's progress. There is no longer any issue with getting the board set up and started. They are thinking about their moves, and recognizing when they move into danger. We've been focusing on providing protection for pieces the last couple of weeks, and while they are still getting the hang of it, they're starting to recognize when and how to do it. Great work!

Lesson Comments
Quinn really wanted to try the drums today, so I let him play on them for fun for a bit. He asked if I could teach him something, so I showed him a few basic things, and he did surprisingly well. His coordination was very good and he caught on very quickly to what I was asking him to do. Looking forward to seeing him develop as a drummer!
