Anna did a great job on her C major scale! Very good technique and coordination. We are working on her sight reading confidence and making smooth transitions when changing hand positions.
Quinn was not able to hold or play guitar, but he listened to Anna's lesson and participated in discussion about counting and rhythm. He also participated in the sing along songs we did at the end of class.
Identify objects that have symmetry and draw lines of symmetry. Find out that shapes can be reflected across one or more lines passing through the shape so the shape folds onto itself exactly. Complete two practice worksheets. activity with folding shapes and finding the line of symmetry.
3 Discipline Games will be played through out the session challenging the discipline and listening skills of the student. Review sections 1-10 of Block Routine #2. Isometric abs countdown drill. Bag work.
Review the purpose and conclusion from previous activity. Define and understand physical change( shape, size, color). Give some examples, activity with paper. Define and understand chemical change(burning, baking, rusting)
