Quinn had a very hard time to focus on the lesson. He couldn't concentrate to add 1+6, we will work this week on solving similar problems and he will have time to get the concept.

Both students were showing an excellent understanding of the new material and there was a great participation.
Anna and Quinn had a lot of trouble settling down and getting focused today. Quinn was all over the place and it took more than usual to get him on task. The first 20 minutes was rough, but once they calmed down and focused, they played one of their best games yet. I only had to remind them of how pieces move a couple of times, and we actually got to focus on strategy as opposed to how the game is played. If I could get that same effort for an entire class, I think they could really improve.
