We reviewed family members, did our calendar activities, then started a section on "good morning" and "good night"

Making corn bread.

We ate our Thanksgiving feast that we prepared. Friendship soup, butter, corn bread, ice-cream and applesauce. Played games and read Thanksgiving stories.

We practiced their spelling words spelling bee style. Then they took their test. They both did a great job!

Draw pictures: Students played in the recreation area, they both shared what they are thankful for, in writing, Anna was thankful for a cozy home and Quinn was thankful for video games. They enjoyed computer time and a great turkey dinner for lunch.

No Stress Chess

Anna and Quinn have no trouble setting up the board now, and get to it as soon as I come in. They're behavior has really improved as well. Even if one of them is losing, they're staying focused and are much easier to keep on task.

Identify the parts of plants as leaves, stems, roots, flowers, fruits, and seeds.
Draw the plant and its parts and label the parts.

Test, using mental math to add, problems with patterns.

Map questions and exercises.

Anna and Quinn worked with the other kids and made a craft - a large apple.
