We finished his economics homework about economic growth, per capita income, loanable funds markets, sources of growth, and the new growth theory. We started work on his history paper in which he had to choose two Primary Sources from the text book, describe them, and compare them.
We worked on his discussion on conflict resolution for Ch. 9 including conflict contexts, conflict causes, latent conflict, perceived conflict, felt conflict, and manifest conflict and types of conflict like avoidance, competition, compromise, accommodation, and collaboration.
We continued working on the discussions for Ch. 7 Leadership and Management Communication (theories, challenges, improving) and Ch. 8 Participating in Organizational Communication (Problem solving and decision making).
We continued the research and discussion of leadership and management theories for his weekly discussion: Trait approaches - Innate leadership, Style approaches - Range of approaches, Situational approaches - How leaders interact, Transformational approaches - How leaders motivate, and Discursive approaches - Leadership through discourses. Brandon defined leadership as how you act and are perceived and management as something you do.
We started working on his weekly discussion where he is supposed to discuss how traits, styles, situational, transformational, and discursive concepts come into play in his work life.
