Brandon finished his video paper by discussing the real-life implications of many of the ideas discussed in the film. He discussed how urban city centers were changing the need for more technology to accomplish tasks more efficiently. He ended by adding an introduction and conclusion to the paper.
Brandon continued working on his video paper. We tackled the first body paragraph which asked Brandon to outline the main arguments of the video. To accomplish this, we looked through the video transcript. We completed the first paragraph and went on the to next, which asked Brandon to agree/disagree with the arguments at-hand.
Brandon had another video reflection assignment this week, so we got started by watching the 58 minute video. Brandon was instructed to take notes throughout to give us a good baseline for his outline. We then took a break from the paper and worked on his discussion posts for the week, which required us to read several articles.
Brandon and I began reading his chapter assignments and articles for the upcoming week. Among the assignments due was a reflection paper based on a film, so we watched the film to prepare us for the assignment. Brandon seems to enjoy these courses, and he is keeping pace with the 6-week courses.
Brandon and I continued reading through several of the chapters assigned for his Managing in a Diverse World course as well as his Organizational Behavior class. Afterwards, Brandon worked on two of the four discussion posts due for Managing Diversity. We will continue working on the rest tomorrow.
Brandon began his new set of courses today, so we read the syllabus for each course to get a better understanding of the requirements and write down his assignments. After reviewing each course, we worked on the required "Introduce Yourself" assignments, and then worked on some of the readings.
