Brandon worked on three of the discussion posts for ITC, which asked him to provide an opinion on the direction of online databases and web servers. Brandon does well on these discussion posts, and it doesn't take him long to complete the required component. We then moved onto the assignment for the class, which asked Brandon to suggest to potential clients how to market their website.
Brandon spent today working on his discussion posts for civilization (primary and secondary posts) and his assignments for Business Dynamics. We had a lot to read for both classes so that Brandon could write informed posts. He finished both by the end of the day.
Brandon worked on his discussion posts for Business Dynamics and ITC. Neither seemed too challenging for him, and he finished both in a timely fashion. He then moved on to his ITC midterm part 2b, which asked him to find several legitimate websites and explain why they are good sites to use to support an argument for/against raising the minimum wage. We will continue working on this.
Brandon had a lot to do today, but he was quick to get started. He began his quiz for ITC, and got 22 of 20 questions correct! He worked on the textbook assignments for his Business Dynamics class and completed everything in a very timely fashion. He then moved on to his Business Dynamics quiz. He is working very hard and doesn't want to miss anything.
Brandon worked on part 2a of his Information Technology course. He was asked to suggest digital media solutions for a hypothetical client. This required him to do some research on Google Docs, Dropbox, iCloud, etc. By the end of the class, he wrote a very solid essay.
Brandon read the course material to complete his discussion board post for his civilizations course. Once he completed that, he worked on his Business Dynamics news article review. Brandon has been working efficiently and very speedily, so we are getting all of his work done in great time.
Brandon spent our time completing the introduction and conclusion to his civilization paper. It was a very solid work, and I am excited to see how the professor grades it. For the rest of our time, he worked on completing his discussion post for Information Technology, which he did with no trouble. Because the majority of our week was focused on completing his paper, Brandon was tasked with completing his ITC homework on his own. He said that he would, and we will see if he completed his assignment on Monday.
Brandon completely outlined the second body paragraph, so he was able to get a lot of the writing done. He discussed how Galileo's experience in Italy (his support of Copernicanism and subsequent exile from the scientific community) paralleled the experience of Gerbert d'Auccan, ambassador of the middle east. He is closing in on the end of the paper, and all he needs to write tomorrow is the introduction and conclusion.
Brandon finished his first body paragraph and started to look-up items to use in his second body paragraph. He was asked to compare the experience of the European scientists during the Scientific Revolution with that of the scientists in the Middle East. We had to draw from one specific text, but he was able to garner enough information to begin writing. He got several pages completed before the end of the day. We will work on the rest tomorrow.
Brandon outlined his first body paragraph, so he started the paper in the middle rather than beginning, as introductions are usually the hardest item to write. He was able to get through most of the writing, as he had a nice outline to draw from for the task. He got through a page and a half, which means he only has about 4.5 more pages! We broke the paper down into sections and devised pages for those sections.
