Brandon and I continue working on his 5 page Definition Draft for College Composition. Brandon made very good headway today, completing a total of 2 pages with research during our class session.
Brandon and I started working on the 5 page draft of his Definition Assignment, taking into consideration his teacher's revision comments to compile a new, more focused assignment. Brandon conducted some preliminary research on this topic, and we started writing his introduction by the time our class ended.
Definition paper. Brandon made good progress on his paper and has come up with some very nice examples. We focused on the Lebron James example for the first session mostly.

Brandon made good progress on his paper and has come up with some very nice examples. We focused on the Lebron James example for the first session mostly.
Brandon and I completed both of his College Composition discussions posts. The first post required Brandon to comment on the use of profanity in society, and the second post called for Brandon's opinion on the issue of poverty as articulated by an article he read for class. I encouraged Brandon to limit his responses to about 10-12 sentences and this ensured that he completed both in a timely fashion.
Brandon did some solid work on his paper and pretty much finished his outline. Then talked about ways to ad to it, and come up with some pretty interesting examples. He needs to start writing but should be in good shape.
We're spent today working on the prep work and prewriting for the definition paper. Brandon seemed very focused and willing to work. I think we made a lot of progress, but he's going to have to put in a big effort next week.
