Ben continues to improve and did an excellent job today. Now, if he misses a question, he has a solid reason for that choice. He needs to work on not projecting information into the text, and only reading what is there.

Lesson Outline
The student brought a Practice Review about a Test he will have Friday, October 25. The Test will include the parallel lines theorems and the Theorem about Sum of interior angles of a triangle. The test also included Distance Formula and Midpoint Formula.

The student completed the practice review. The student need to review the algebraic concepts of solving equations, Distance Formula and Midpoint Formula.
Ben continues to improve. Today we worked on reading comprehension from the SAT, which is a little different in format from what we were doing before. He had a little trouble with the questions based on two different passages, but improved on the next one. I'm very pleased with his progress and think he's in great shape for the FCAT.
The student learned to use the Theorems of angles given by two parallel lines and one transversal.

Excellent Student. Very interested and learning attitude. We went over his homework and, although he was lacking knowledge from previous sections he did pretty well in understanding the new concepts.
Ben continues to improve and is in very good shape. We started working the reading comp from the ACT, which is much more difficult than the FCAT, and he did very well.
Ben continues to do a great job in our sessions and improve. We kicked it up a notch in difficulty today and he seemed to have few problems. We talked focused on inference and implied questions, which seems to be his weakness.
Ben has improved simply by checking his answers in the text. The next step is to not project his interpretation into the questions and text. He's using process of elimination and almost always gets it down to the best two answers. But I noticed he makes assumptions with his reading, rather than following the text literally. We'll work on it.
