Trevor struggled with the homework assignment last night. I talked to him about using his resources (such as notes and examples in the book) to assist him. He tends to try to do everything from memory and forgets that he has notes and a textbook.

We are waiting for the statistics texts to arrive. In the meantime, we will be reading about statistical experiments that have been done the past to help Trevor understand the purpose of statistics.
Discuss the broad definition and the pharmacological definition of the word drug

Trevor is very interested in the whole area, particularly in pharmacognosy.
Chapter 1 is a review of algebra concepts:
1. Trevor will be able to find the slope of the line.
2. Trevor will be able to write the equation of a line.
3. Trevor will be able to predict (linear extrapolation) using the equation of a line.
4. Trevor will be able to graph a line given its equation in various forms.
5. Trevor wil be able to write equations of parallel and perpendicular lines.
