I really enjoyed working with Brogan…she is smart, polite and cooperative, as well as, being a beautiful sweet girl.
Brogan and I finished working on her Seasons project. We completed Summer and Fall. She is very creative and enjoyed the open ended project to apply her imaginative ideas. Brogan added 4 more rows to her crochet project, and demonstrated to Morgan how to do it. She also wrote an acrostic poem using the letters in her name. She brainstormed adjectives to best describe her ;Beautiful, Really Creative, Ooh La La, Gorgeous, Artsy, Nice. She used yarn, construction paper, and letter stickers to create an "Adjective Kid" that resembled her to record her acrostic poem on. We had just enough time to finish before lunch.
Brogan is a wonderful, bright little girl. We added two more families to her word family book. We chose a word family, went through alphabetical order, adding a letter(s) in front of the word family at an effort to create words. Once she recorded a list of words, she used those words to form sentences. Brogan worked on crocheting 2 more rows on her project. Brogan participated in a St. Patrick's Day read aloud with her peers. They found a letter from a leprechaun and went around the school on a mission to solve the clues. Collaboratively, they made a special St. Patrick's Day dessert.
Continue working on our four seasons project.
As we work discuss and review what makes the days longer in our summer and shorter in our winter.
Discuss how plants respond to the changes in temperature and precipitation.

We also did a "Hop into Spring" theme, i.e. butterfly, buzzing bee, lotus flower, half moon, and filled out a color sheet with the poses. We then did poses along with "Yoga for Kids" book.
