The student brought several practice exercises that we could use to explain the concepts. The student understood them very well and end finished the homework.
Review of topics for her test tomorrow. We did not have enough time to cover everything, but she feels more comfortable with certain topics that were confusing her.
She has a test on chapter 10, which contains a lot of information. We went over how to solve quadratic equations using the factoring method, using the quadratic formula, and solving by using square roots. Then, we went over graphing quadratic functions, and finding the max and min by finding the vertex and axis of symmetry. We quickly reviewed domain and range. She was completely lost on a lot of the topics covered on this exam, but she left more confident. She has to calm down, one of her biggest problems is her anxiety.
Anamaria is having a hard time with her Chapter 7 information. Today we went over a bunch or practice problems that will be on her test tomorrow. Her only problem is that she rushes through things, and makes errors, and then starts to stress out. She needs to calm down, take it step by step and stop rushing through the problems.
