Ted Talk: Forge Identity, Build Meaning
Lesson Outline
Emma chose our Ted Talk this Friday, and we watched a film about a man who experienced bullying throughout his childhood and how he chose to define himself not by negative experiences, but by the resulting "enlightenment" he experienced as a result of negative circumstances. Emma had some great insight on the nature of bullying, especially among females, and she discussed the rhetorical devices present throughout the talk.
