I worked with Gio going over the fundamentals of Wordpress. After Gio was familiar with the tools of the program we worked together to create seven website pages.

I worked with Gio to understand the fundamental tools of Adobe Indesign. Once Gio had a clear understanding of the software we moved on to complete both his in-class and homework assignments.

We covered strategies such as doing the easy questions first, eliminating wrong answers, plugging in, etc., and reviewing the given formulas and how to use them. We worked several problems, and talked about work he can do to prepare for his upcoming test.

Systems of the body-
Gio reviewed his notes from the entire semester for his final exam tomorrow. We discussed the integumentary system and determined where different types of skin cells may be found in the human body. We then reviewed the names of the muscles, bones, and circulatory system vessels. We worked through several drawings he will need to label and practiced some mnemonic devices that can help him remember the different body parts.

We covered the exam review evaluating algebraic expressions, set theory - intersection and union of two sets, simplifying algebraic expressions, evaluating irrational expressions, using the product rule and quotient rule to simplify irrational expressions, adding and subtracting irrational expressions and simplifying, rationalizing the denominator of an irrational expression, evaluating expressions with fractional exponents, adding and subtracting polynomials, finding the product of two binomials, factoring a second degree trinomial, factoring the difference of two squares, adding and subtracting rational expressions.

We covered monopoly, purpose of market, shortage and surplus, scarcity, human capital, physical capital, centrally planned economy vs. free markets, excise taxes, income effect, substitution effect, scarcity and choices, Law of Supply, Law of Demand, supply and demand shifts, equilibrium, price floors and ceilings, elasticity.

Gio and I completed the remaining 13 slides for the PowerPoint today.

Gio and I started work on the 16 slide PowerPoint due Wednesday. It is a MAJOR ASSIGNMENT. We were only able to finish 3 slides, but I assembled quite a few photos for the next slide.

We worked on the Capstone Project today.
