Rhetorical Analysis: Sea World's Responses to Blackfish Documentary
Lesson Outline
After viewing several of the Sea World Cares videos in response to the documentary Blackfish, Keaton and I discussed rhetorical techniques employed in the clips, including logical fallacies, and deflection. Keaton took notes, but tends to simply write short summaries in summative evaluation form. This means he misses crucial quotes and statistics, since he's not noting them as he goes. We will continue practicing note taking techniques which will help him a great deal in any academic endeavor.
