First, we took a look at how staircases are made. How they are laid out? How many steps? How high is the rise? How long is the thread? Next, we took a trip to a factory that manufactures asbestos shingles. Excellent session.
I returned Hunter's midterm to him. He scored a 53. We looked at his mistakes and corrected them. We also started to watch "Stand and Deliver", which is a movie about inner-city kids in South California that take AP Calculus.
This afternoon Hunter and I continued our discussion on net neutrality. We used this time to sure up various points surrounding this topic while Hunter updated his worksheet. We should be able to complete the worksheet by the end of the week.

Hunter and I discussed Graphic Arts for next semester and U.S. Government. He continued writing his analytical essay in response to a prompt about "The Lottery" and why the ancestors of the villagers began the lottery.
