It covers both the historical roots of the crisis and the central flaws of global financial regulation. The film draws heavily on interviews with academics, politicians, journalists, and financial insiders.
Hunter begins work on a monkey flip toy by cutting the two uprights and center piece to proper specs. Next he properly selects the correct shank and thread drill bit for the two screws to be used. After drilling these holes he assemblies the two uprights to the center piece using a hand screw driver. Lastly the monkey body pattern is traced onto wood and cut to shape.
Hunter reviewed vocabulary words by defining them and using them in written sentences. We looked at another vocabulary cartoon - compatible and revisited "hospitable hospital". Hunter read a Reading Social Studies - "The Cherokee Removal". He highlighted as he read and answered comprehension questions afterwards. We looked at the grammar textbook and he answered questions recognizing types of nouns - concrete, abstract, proper.
Hunter completes a seven piece tangram in this period. Each piece is carefully laid out on 1/4" pine and cut by using a miter box and back saw. He skillfully and carefully cuts, files, and sands each piece to proper specification. Great session.
Hunter did not successfully complete the homework assignment so we went over the concept again today. He seemed to do much better today and I re-assigned several sample problems.
Hunter is shown a technique for freehand sketching and use of drafting triangles of the following; parallel, horizontal, vertical, and 45 degree lines. They are all put together to form squares, rectangles, and cubes.
Lastly, Hunter reviews how to make a two point perspective drawing of a small home complete with a door and window using the drafting triangles. Good session.
