Today, Netra and I completed her outline as required by her teacher. We paraphrased her research, rearranged her sub points and organized evidence. Lastly, we revised her citation page numbers.
Netra and I worked on her MLA works cited page for her informational paper. We revised her in-text citations, and edited the paper for content and structure. Next, we began brainstorming for her persuasive writing paper, and she wrote the first draft of the introduction.
Today Netra and I created an outline of her persuasive essay. We poured over her chosen research and pulled out relevant facts and information, and we discussed and noted arguments and counterarguments to explore in her paper. We also discussed the connotative and denotative meanings of two concepts she is exploring in her paper: utilitarianism and libertarianism as they relate to healthcare administration.
Today, Netra and I outlined the arguments for and against a public health care system. We summarized the research and theories of the social scientists we reviewed, and I helped Netra to craft a logical and organized analysis of the issue from both sides of the spectrum.

Netra and I completed the evaluation and summary of her 6 credible sources. We created a correctly cited reference sheet with the summaries and evaluations. Netra also revised and revamped her thesis statement. Next week, we will work on the outline.
