Aiden read and learned about the terms force and contact force. We discussed contact versus noncontact forces. He read about Newton's second law of motion the acceleration law a=F/m. He completed the Math Connection questions using this formula.
Colson completed the Investigations "Comparing Ages" and "Increasing and Decreasing Populations" where he analyzed a bar graph and histograms of human population growth and population age structures. He completed the follow-up questions and we discussed how to read the graphs and predict growth trends. He completed 3-Dimensional Thinking where he analyzed world population growth trends. We discussed natural resources and carrying capacity.
