We went through her last practice exam, and went over the following concepts she showed weakness on: reciprocal trig functions, percentages, and composite functions.
Jordan completed the seventh passage from the exercises she started last week. It was a complex passage, and we reviewed the questions and answers in detail. Then we went over the science strategies again, and Jordan began more drills while building her endurance in using the techniques.

Jordan is doing very well for the most part. I highly suggest she also do some reading and english tutoring.
We are going through multiple practice problems and concepts since she is taking the exam in a few weeks. Since she has been through the majority of this information, now it is a matter of reviewing, practicing, and practicing the tricks to increase speed and recognize typical ACT problems.
We went through practice problems dealing with the following concepts: algebraic manipulation, complex numbers, average (tricks), some other basic tricks for these tests, and perfect square trinomials.
We worked on problems from a practice test that included graphing quadratics, finding the coordinates of maxima and minima, word problems, distance formula, midpoint formula, Pythagorean Theorem, rates of change, etc.
