Today Arianna started with the bumper car warm-up and then we did some partner core work and stretching. She practiced balancing with her stuffed dog walking slowly with it on her head, shoulder, etc. She then worked on a new dance"Good is the New Bad" adding in hip hop and jazz moves.

Today Gracyn warmed up her body playing bumper cars, doing gross motor movements not bumping into others. She then did ab work and stretching. Gracyn then worked on eye-hand coordination throwing balls into a hoop and then balancing a hoop on her head. She ended the session with creating shapes with her body using different categories.

Lesson Outline
Arianna wrote out her dance vocabulary and stretches on white board cubes. Together we played a game where we rolled the cube and danced the steps/warm-ups to the music. Today she did her spacial warm-up playing number cars creating dance paths. She ended the session picking her favorite musical video (munchcinland).

Today Arianna warmed up to YMCA using many jazz movements she has learned. She danced through her stretches and she does a beautiful job pointing (stretching her feet).She listened to her "Yellow Brick Road" music and went over the words to sing and dance to. She received a basket to hold in her dance. She decided next month she would like to do a pirate dance.

Lesson Outline
Arianna decided she would like to do jazz, hip-hop and musical theatre for the rest of the year and not ballet. Arianna went through her jazz warm-ups. She watched the dancing and singing parts of the Wizard of Oz. She chose the Yellow Brick Road song to learn to sing and dance to for Tuesday.

Today Loulie created wands with a star and a triangle. She learned how to sit up tall like a princess with a crown on and practiced diamond toes and scary toes. She warmed up her legs bending with plies and lifting her heels in releve. Loulie practiced her galloping and ended with a princess dance.

Today Arianna chose her favorite dance moves and wrote them on two separate dice. She played the dice game and rolled the dice and then added the two movements together. Her favorite was leap pirouette. She then watched behind the scenes to the Christmas spectacular. She practiced her jazz moves: chasse ballchange, chinne turn, pivot and cheerleader runs using a large candy cane to dance with.
Arianna practiced her leaps today wearing reindeer antlers and ended with stretching her splits.
