Today Gwendolyn and I went over some baking essentials. We learned some great tips for baking muffins. We finished our class with picking some recipes for next week.
Today Arianna made peanut butter spider cookies. We mixed together all of the ingredients for the cookies. After they were done baking we placed a Hershey’s kiss in the middle for the spider's body and added candy eyes. For the finishing touch, Arianna piped on 8 chocolate legs.

Today Gwendolyn and I researched how to make a good apple pie filling. We found some great recipes. We talked about good thickening agents to use in apple pie filling. In our next session we are going to make Oat Cookie cups and put the apple pie filling in them.
Today Arianna made Halloween Sprinkle Sugar Cookies. She put the ingredients in the Kitchen Aid mixer and mixed them until the mix was light and fluffy. Arianna then made the cookies into balls and rolled them in orange and black colored sprinkles. The cookies turned out super soft, tender, ultra chewy and have a delicious vanilla taste.
