Today Gwendolyn made Pumpkin Pie Bites. We started by greasing and flouring our mini-muffin pan. Next we floured our cutting board so we could roll out our pie crust. We cut the pie crust to fit our mini muffin tins. Next, Gwewndolyn combined the ingredients into the Kitchen Aid mixer for the pumpkin pie filling. She mixed it till it was the perfect consistency. We then filled the muffin tin and placed it into oven. Once the Pumpkin Pie Bites were cooled we added some whipped cream and cinnamon.
Today, Arianna made homemade ice cream. She didn't need to look through the recipe book because she knew right away that she wanted to make chocolate. Arianna used the proper measuring cups and spoons to measure the heavy cream, vanilla, sugar, and cocoa powder. She whisked the mixture together and then poured it into an ice cream ball. Then, Arianna filled the ball with ice and ice cream salt. We rolled the ball back and forth until the ice cream hardened. Once finished, Arianna spooned it into cups and handed it out to the other students. She did a great job and it came out delicious.

Today Ben made apple crisp oatmeal cookie cups. We combined two of the best desserts: apple pie and oatmeal cookies. Ben mixed all of the ingredients together for the oatmeal cookie cups. When we removed the oatmeal cups from the oven, we used a pastry tart tamper to flatten the inside of the cup. Next we added the apple pie filling.
