Rachel was able to reflect on the problems and identify patterns to help herself learn. We discussed quick check methods for problems.

Algebra II
Rachel and I quickly discussed her current situation in her class.

We then worked to prepare her for her test tomorrow.

We looked at problems that are likely to appear on the test.

We reviewed the big picture points of what the questions are really asking her.

We discussed ways that she can check her work especially using a calculator.

We walked through 3 problems step by step making sure that she got each answer correct.

JPaul was absent for class today. I stayed until Ms. Megan informed me he would not be coming.

Today JPaul took his last test in Algebra 2. He worked the entire period. He paused at one point to ask for clarification on what a problem was asking. I will grade the test tonight and we will go through it next class. We will also begin PreCalculus starting next class.
