We worked on the PowerPoint, finalizing details and starting the Works Cited

Will used his reading time today to work on another collage about Eric Clapton, then used the second half of the period to do some silent reading.

Charlie edited his draft of Lina's Fourth Journal Entry. He focused on fixing spelling and punctuation. He typed his final draft on the computer. Charlie and I began to read the next chapter in, "The People of Sparks." Charlie focused on making new predictions and began to develop an opinion of which side he supports in the book.

We started the PowerPoint presentation for the Illegal Immigration project and have completed the first several slides

Today Netra and I continued to work on her paper, rearranging the analysis for logical progression, rewording, and working on sentence fluency.

Today, Netra and I outlined the arguments in Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics. We then created an outline for her paper and discussed ways to tie in his arguments to today's society.

Today we continued to add evidence and analysis to Netra's paper. Next, we restructured and revised the paper to prepare it for submission.

Today, Netra and I outlined the bullet points and quotes she would integrate into her essay. We created a thesis and subpoints to cover, made an outline and then drafted the first draft. We went through the essay for a quick revision and made sure all of her quotes were correctly cited, and that the points she made progressed logically.

We read and discussed a story about a boy that likes to read. Then we answered questions and wrote our responses.

We created an outline and gathered sources for the project on immigration, terrorism and crime. We completed the homework for History.
