Henry was not here today. Maylee and I worked on cleaning out the middle room near the preschool and we moved extra storage boxes to the garage.

Lesson Comments
This was from last Tuesday's lesson with Henry. I was never informed how to record session time in the event of complete absences. I had mentioned this in a prior lesson comment, but wanted to ensure it was covered after Nicole informed me today of the proper procedure. My apologies for any confusion.

Henry was not here today. Typically I would have met with him for 90 minutes, but I came in late.

Math Games
Lesson Outline
We discussed several math games. He chose to work on some sudoku and we printed out a medium puzzle to both work on separately but together. We both made suggestions to each other, sometimes in error but corrected after talking it out. It began to get difficult at about the 3/4 mark where the difficulty and complexity of the puzzle increased because we had filled in all the 'easy' answers. Instead of moving on to something else, we moved to the computer, brought up the puzzle we were working on and worked together online to complete it. The advantage of the online puzzle is that you are able to check your input and it will automatically tell you if you are correct as you work through the puzzle, which we both liked. Overall, he did a great job of sticking with it to the end.
