Ayden and I had read the short story "Brief Moment in the Life of Angus Bethune" by Chris Crutcher last Thursday.
Today we watched the movie "Angus" based on the short story. We looked for the differences between the movie and the text. Aiden did a great job finding them.
Ayden and I read the short story aloud. We stopped to define difficult vocabulary and to summarize the plot. We discussed a little bit about the author and his purpose behind writing the story. Ayden took a short comprehension quiz on the story and did super with it!
