English II
Session Date
Lesson Topic
Complete the Alpha Biography
Lesson Outline
120 minutes - substitute for Dr. Abby - English II - 12:30 to 2:30
Alexa was given an assignment to write an Alpha Biography and a second assignemt to compare the reading of stories on digital equipment with stories in books. She began the Alpha Biography, but did not have time for the 2nd assignment. I assisted her with an explanation of both assignments. She chose to begin the Alpha bio first. It took her awhile to think of 10 letters of words that had significance to her life. Once she began, she had no difficulty in writing a short essay on each item. Her choices were: Auditions; Disney channel; Netflix; Scripts; Murder Mysteries; etc. All her topics revolved around her life right now - the auditions she is involved with; the scripts she is reading; the companies she is working with, etc. As she completed each item, I had her read it to me. I corrected some grammar.
