Katya was on Skype today. We did Act 3, scene 1 -- I read to her and she took notes as we discussed the words, meaning, and strategies Shakespeare used here. Katya wrote a short summary and is printing it out to bring next week for her portfolio.
Alexa is working on her screenplay writing, augmented by a Great Course online high-level teaching aid by a top professor. We are taking the lessons and using them in her writing. We are also continuing to read Shakespeare's, The Tempest.
Alexa is working on writing a screenplay for her major writing piece of quarter 4. Today we begin to augment that process with an online piece from a university professor on screenplay writing to help move the project along in the wisest manner. Katya is continuing to focus on characterization analysis of Miranda in Shakespeare's, The Tempest. She is creating pre-write material for an essay. Katya's assignment is to find a quote on innocence to start her essay.
