Originally, I planned to share 2 kits with Libby and Teddy. Libby wasn't that interested so we ended up playing with the dollhouse. She had a very good time creating stories and games.
Libby created an imaginative story using her dollhouse and its characters. We discussed the correct order of chronological events that were occurring in Libby's story which revolved around a typical day in the life of the dollhouse family. Libby assigned roles to the characters and assigned their roles accurately. She has a vivid imagination, and she created realistic sound effects while portraying the different roles of the various family members as they interacted with one another.

Teddy is really enjoying the Robotic Coding Cubelets. He built a number of bots and learned the cubes various functions through trial and error. He was very resourceful in the way he solved problems and found solutions.
1. Set up a new creative play scene with Libby
2. Provide some new materials for setting the scene
3. Incorporate Libby's stuffy characters into the new scene

Libby was excited to return to the land of unicorns and stuffies. She created a scene with the random props and played along her story line. She mentioned wanting to craft some puppets next week.

Teddy really enjoyed the Robotic Cubelets. He especially like creating a very large robot and walking it around the school. He also like adding the Lego elements in. He was very open to having the robotics next week.

Libby enjoyed working with the robotic cubes and had fun taking her robots for a walk around school. She did request something new for the next week. I think she liked it but prefers other activities

Today we created settings for our stories with Legos and other shape blocks. We talked about a storyline with fairies and Libby created a fairy castle with blocks. We also drew a beach scene together for another story.
1. Discuss ideas for a new storyline and discovered Teddy's book Frog and Toad.
2. He found his box of small animals and while I read him the stories from the book, he played with the animals
3. We made plans for a Frog and Toad adventure play

Teddy really enjoyed listening to the Frog and Toad stories. I read about 7 different chapters. We made plans for me to create some props for the next few weeks for dramatic play with Frog and Toad.
