Teddy really enjoyed our lesson today. We Played the Prop Bag Swap game and then quickly switched to free imaginative play. He used the props in unique ways and then he created a knight in a castle vs a dragon scene. Such a fun imagination!

Libby and I had so much fun with the free play portion of our time. She has such a great imagination and engaged with the props and with me in so many new ways.

I introduced my magic prop bag and played a game. I would introduce a new item, such as a tube or jug or box, and we took turns naming a character and using that prop. Next, Teddy used the props to create his own ideas. He built some unique sculptures and told a little story as he built.

I introduced my magic prop bag and played a game. I would introduce a new item, such as a tube or jug or scarf, and we took turns naming a character and using that prop. Next, Libby used the props to create her own stories for the two of us. She had so much fun!

Today, I introduced myself to Teddy and learned about what he enjoys about drama and stories. I showed him each of my story card boxes and he created a short story with each of the 3 boxes. He really enjoyed sorting the cards and then using the remaining cards to interact with each other. He found so many unique ways for the characters to interact with each other along with the various setting cards.

Today, Libby and I got to know each other. I introduced the storytelling cards and she created a story. She enjoyed drawing her own characters and created a wonderful story about rabbit and a fairy. She has such an amazing imagination.
