Teddy continued working on set pieces for the stage we started creating out of cardboard. Teddy and I ordered items we could use on the stage and with imaginary play.

PJ is an interesting kid. When I presented the special effect makeup book, he acted confused about why we were doing that. I reminded him that he told me he wanted to do that. Then he said, "Oh, okay, alright." Whenever he "shares" videos with me, they always have lots of profanity. I'm trying to steer him away from that with me and yet honor what he says his dad lets him watch. I focus on what's appropriate for a school setting. he also puts his fingers in his nose often and sometimes sticks his hands in his pants butt area.
Libby continued working on shadow puppets. She chose different characters from a list presented to her. We spent time printing these images on card stock. We cut the photos out. We found sticks to mount to the back of the shadow puppets. We started gluing the sticks to the back of the pictures and taping them so they could dry.
We used a cardboard box and started to convert it into a stage. Teddy sketched an image with a stage and the stage curtains and stage lights. He created two chairs for the set.
