I guided Eecho through problems involving potential and kinetic energy, mass, velocity, acceleration, and forces. I showed him how to use the spring formula and I monitored his knowledge of problems with friction in moving vehicles. There was no assignment.

Lesson Comments
Eecho works hard and has a good command of physics dealing with vehicles but has more difficulty choosing and using formulas to solve problems.
I worked with Eecho on problems given by his teacher. The problems included required stopping distances and reaction time, circular motion, acceleration, average and final velocity, precision and accuracy, and frictionless motion. We covered several practice sheets. There was no assignment.

Eecho showed a strong understanding of motion problems.
Eecho had an extensive review. We were able to complete about 90% of the review, but we did look over the last page and covered any questions Eecho wanted to discuss.
Eecho and I worked on problems which required the use of the combined gas law and the ideal gas law. We finished all of the problems assigned by Eecho's teacher. There was no assignment.
Eecho brought additional problems for him to study for the exam. We went through problems in molecular forces of attraction, the Kinetic Molecular Theory, stoichiometry, and gas laws. I showed him how to solve several problems in each topic. There was no assignment.

Will schedule a follow-up meeting to discuss college goals & options.
Eecho brought the textbook with him, which turned out to be the teacher's edition. We went over the topics that his chemistry teacher told him to do for review. They included problems on balancing formulas and equations and finding molar relations such as the number of representative particles in a given number of moles or grams of a substance. There was no assignment.
