Finish lesson about what types of grabber sentences would be good for beginning an informational piece about baseball. Using the plan for the writing from before, begin to create an introductory paragraph that starts broad and ends with the topic sentence.
Go over what was written down about the history of baseball and determine how to put it together for an informational piece. Determine what the two or three detail paragraphs will include and separate the information found into their appropriate spots.
Introduce prepositions using pg 33 in the grammar workbook. Have PJ tell me what the preposition is in 5 sentences that I say to him and he copies.

Reread what was written for his review piece. Look first to how it sounds and if any sentences need to be changed to flow better. Discuss how this is an opinion piece as he is not including the section about potential positives as he would for an argumentative piece.
Read "Knights Before Christmas" and talk about how it is the same and different from "The Night Before Christmas. Write a retelling of a favorite story and illustrate it.
