Aiden is showing knowledge of subject/verb agreement. We are working on subordinate clause vs. compound sentence differentiation, which he is reviewing positively.
Cam and I reviewed a series of writing prompts. He responded verbally and decided to elaborate on theme identification: If someone were to write a story about a series of events in his life, what theme could be used to tie those events together? Cam chose fighting as the theme and discussed why and how it strengthened his character and gave him discipline and focus over the years.
