We spent our time preparing for the exam tomorrow. Gio knows he needs to cut and paste the information we created onto 3 x 5 cards that he can bring with him to the classroom
Robin and I were supposed to meet on Skype today. She was "offline" for most of the session and then unresponsive (yet "online") for the final half hour.

When she finally got online, I wrote a few messages, but got no reply. However, I did see the message that she was "typing" at one point, in reply to one of my questions. That message never got to me. It could have been technical issues. However, I believe she was just avoiding me. Nothing new, really. She doesn't like to write. I tried!
Research Paper Submitted and Commonly Confusing Words A-D
Lesson Outline
Today, Robin emailed me the final copy of her research paper, her crowning achievement! I'm proud of her. She also completed an exercise on commonly confused words A-D.
Today, Robin worked speedily and efficiently during our writing workshop. She edited her research paper for grammar, word choice, parenthetical citations, and Works Cited entries. She is only missing one citation, and she'll be done. I'm proud of her work today.
Robin and I reviewed a draft of her research paper today, and she added important details on each of her sources, adding ethos to her report. She was unable to access her latest draft, so we used an older version, and she'll just have to edit again. We discussed methods of backing up her work.
Today, Robin didn't have a copy of her research paper, as she says it is saved on her brother's laptop. I took an older draft from my records, and we reviewed MLA Works Cited format. She completed a sample citation and researched her experts, in order to add ethos to her essay. She will gain access to her research paper before our next session.

Very late. Very unprepared. She should have been done by now.
