Sebastian immediately ran away from me through the halls when I said it was time for class. He said "the wind is chasing me!" as I followed him asking him to please go to class. He ended on the couch and sat there for 15 minutes refusing to move or talk to me for the majority of it. When he finally did talk he said he was tired as he was recovering from being sick and throwing up three times yesterday afternoon.
Once I got him back to his room he immediately tried to pick up his ipad. I gave him the warning that if he messes with his ipad during class that administration will take it from him for the duration of my class. He tried to argue that other students have their phones in class, as well as, that it was just that one time (in reference to yesterday) and that it didn't matter because class hadn't actually started yet. As he believes that class starts once we both are in the room.

In today's lesson Sebastian and I first learned about how not only the moon has an influence on the tides but so does the sun. We then discussed why the moon's gravity has a greater influence, which is due to the distance compared to the sun. We then completed a small activity to investigate the direction of gravity outside.
