Sebastian and I began our session with an introduction video on entrepreneurship. We discussed his film making and fishing. Sebastian completed an activity brainstorming a business that he would like to create. He decided to create a fishing equipment business. We then discussed if his business would be logical or not and of course, yes, it is! Sebastian then created a business name (Cunningham Fishing Equipment) and a business logo (a circle with a person holding a fishing rod). Great name and logo! Sebastian then wrote who he would hire as his employees and their job description (rod maker, cashier, janitor, delivery guy, lure maker). Sebastian ended our session with illustrating an advertisement for his business and writing about how he would spend the money he made from his business.

Sebastian and I had a great discussion about fishing. I shared some pictures with him. He was focused throughout our session, creating a fishing business.
Sebastian learned about supply, demand and price and their relationship. Given different scenarios, Sebastian was tasked with determining if the price would go up or down. He read/learned about the main products of the New England, Middle and Southern colonies. Sebastian used that information to fill out a chart on the economy of the colonies.

Lesson Comments
Sebastian was interested in the market economy. He seemed to enjoy determining how supply and demand affected price in the different scenarios.
Grammar – Commas in a series – As he edited his slide his task was to look for commas in series and to make corrections where needed.
Writing Slide Project – Revise and Edit - Sebastian completed his Batt School slide show.
Writing – Fishing Persuasive - Sebastian continued his research on the effects of fishing for the
mind and body to use in his writing.
I completed the lesson plans left from Ms. Emily. We finished testing for the standardized test. With the time that we had left, we read the next two chapters in Goosebumps and discussed the events orally.
In today's session Sebastian and I worked on graphing our three cities data that we collected last class. For this he identified what data should be on the x-axis and which would be represented on the y-axis. We then plotted them in a dot plots with lines to visualize the data. This will allow us to better analyze the data collected.

Sebastian was roaming around the kitchen and library when I found him at the start of class. He said again that class doesn't start until we both are in the room, then during his way to his room he went into Mercer's room. He was sitting in Mercer's chair and both myself and Mercer's teacher Daniella had to ask him multiple time to leave so we both could start class. During this time both Mercer and Sebastian were mocking us repeating "Sebastian it's time for class." Once back in his room I informed him again that it starts at the designated time. He used the bathroom at 11:12-11:22 and at 11:52-11:54.
Writing Slide Project – Revise and Edit - Sebastian continued to add more comments to many slides. We also went outside and took pictures of the schools marque to add to the slide show.
Writing – New project- Sebastian began a persuasive piece on fishing. His job is to convince people that do not like fishing to fish. Using the Internet he researched some benefits of fishing.

Sebastian was asked several times today and on Monday not to knock on the door to the Lab or through things at the window to the Lab as this disturbs the learning going on in that room. Teachers have come out of that room asking us o try to monitor this. Today Sebastian and Mercer trough things at the window and were reminded of the rule. I also told them that if they did it again they would not have recess tomorrow. Sebastian mimicked me with Mercer following. Shortly after that they were given the one-minute warning that recess was about to end .I then called them in and Sebastian through the object at the window with Mercer following. Both Miss Courtney and I explained the consequence for tomorrow and they were reminded to practice making good choices.
