We discussed coronavirus, the question of whether or not to be vaccinated, the economy and the supply chain issues, and tried, unsuccessfully, to come up with solutions for the problems. We also discussed Republican and Democratic policies, and the questions surrounding Trump.

We watched CNN10 which informed us on the rise in gas prices and possible effect on inflation, the Amadee-20 mission involving analog astronauts simulating what it would be like to live on Mars for a month, and Boston Marathon survivor, Heather Abbott and her work to help other amputees get proper prostheses. Additionally we researched and discussed William Shatner's adventure due to happen this morning. We discussed the above current events and their possible impact.
Today Mercer and I looked at the growing population of several different countries. We learned that India will eventually pass China up for the most people. We ended learning about solar energy and discussed the pros and cons of renewable energy.
Mercer watched CNN10 which had segments on the Pfizer vaccine becoming eligible to 12-15 year old youth, the Olympic Games in Japan and population control in Japan. We discussed the impact of vaccinating 12-15 year old youth, how Mercer felt about that and whether he thought it was a good idea or not.
