ACT PREP: Reading Comprehension and English Grammar
Lesson Outline
I met Jeff and Ryan today for the first time. They are studying to take the ACT. We assessed strengths and weaknesses today and made a plan for what we will work on until the test. It is interesting to work with both boys together. They are both very bright, yet I can see their differences. We will continue to work on time management for the reading comprehension part of the test. I have found that continuous and rigorous practice works for this. We will also focus 15 percent of our sessions on the English portion. Great session.

Great family. We had a very successful session. They boys are both bright, conscientious and are aware of their strengths, as well as the skills they need to work on.
We completed 90 percent of a 2018 SAT practice exam. We talked a lot about test strategies and what are the most tested concepts on the exam. They did not have a lot of time to prepare for the exam but in the two sessions I felt they showed definite improvement.
