Spencer read a nonfiction passage and did well answering questions about the text. He was tasked with matching definitions and vocabulary words. In addition, he practiced making thinking marks while reading a paragraph.

Today's session focused on homework. Cabo reviewed homework for Spanish, math, and language arts. He reported that his work in these classes was completed and removed from his homework board. Cabo was on task.
He discussed the cultural teachings of the chapter. He then answered questions dealing with three different grammatical sections from the chapter. Lastly, he worked on vocabulary. We tried a new approach to a well-trodden form of reviewing the vocabulary. This new approach seemed to work well.
Cabo did a good job of applying himself and demonstrating a decent knowledge of the chapter vocabulary.
Spencer asked to work on the Stanford Achievement Test during his study skills session. He stayed focused and completed the Listening section of the test.
Matthew worked on his study guide for English. He acquired a new copy of the assignment from his teacher. He then answered several of the questions. When appropriate I helped to locate the portion of the text that discussed the answer.
Spencer worked hard on an online reading comprehension assessment. He did well choosing the correct word to complete given sentences. Additionally, he learned and practiced new vocabulary.
