Tristan completed homework such as, math - summer sheet #11 reviewing symmetry, partial sums, perimeter/area, and time on clock ; language arts - reading two pages in the book, "Frog and Toad are Friends". Tristan also completed an activity working on compound words and vowels.

Tristan struggled today. He was not focused, repeating movements and words and did not want to complete his homework. It was like his body was completely taking over.
He started by reviewing the Spanish vocabulary for his test this week.
He then moved on to an English study guide.
Next he worked on submitting 3 business assignments - two of which were short and a third that he had prewritten. Chemistry directly followed. He worked from his digital text.
Lastly, he returned to his Spanish list for a final review.
Letter(s) combinations that make the long e sound were reviewed. Spencer confidently read a series of three words and identified which word contained the long e sound. He was tasked with writing the plural form of given nouns. Spencer did very well adding three and four 4-digt numbers.

Spencer was completing his math problems indep endently. It was a review of multi-digit addition. He said loudy, "Miss Debbie, why aren't you helping me? I need your help and you're not helping me with my homework.' I was sitting right next to him, watching him do the problems easily and confidently. He then said that he had said that because Miss Judie was walking by and he was getting me in trouble.
Tristan completed homework such as math - summer sheet, reading a bar graph and answering questions using the bar graph ; language arts - completing the sentence, choosing the word that completes the sentence - shriek, whirl, applause, lively, and role.
Spencer chose to do his language arts homework first because he knew it would take more time. He read a passage in his vocabulary book and then answered questions related to sequence and settings. Spencer also matched definitions to vocabulary words. He enjoyed a word search of vocabulary words. Spencer solved word problems determining what information was necessary, what operation(s) were needed and then completed the computations.
Today's lesson focused on homework assigned to Cabo. Cabo was encouraged to review class assignments and complete the assigned task. Cabo was urged to complete an overdue research project in world history that he had not turned in.

Tristan reviewed the words - perform, nervous, whirl, instrument, timid, lively, sway, applause, shriek, and role.
Spencer practiced his spelling words. He completed word problems by determining the relevant information, determining the operation(s) needed and then solving the problems.
